Return of the slogan tee...! I don't know what it is but when I see graphic print tees I just want to buy them. They're either a love/hate thing, but I thoroughly enjoy throwing them on with a pair of skinny jeans and being done with an outfit. Need I say more...

The Bomber Jacket

January 24, 2016

The thing I love about fashion is the ability to become whoever and whatever you want to be. You can adopt a different style persona every single day if you want to do so, and the freedom and creativity it gives you is what I love so much. My best friend has been wearing a bomber jacket a lot recently and every time I see her in it I just think how effortlessly cool she looks. Question is - could I pull it off? Answer - why the hell not?! So I bought a bomber jacket and all I can think is why didn't I do this sooner? They are the epitome of effortlessly chic style and look so great in all kinds of outfits. If you want that minimal chic look then a bomber jacket is definitely the way forward.

The Knit

January 17, 2016

It's been so mild for this time of year in the UK, and knitwear hasn't made much of an appearance for me. Now it's January though, I do love wrapping up warm and cosy of an early morning, and recently I've been loving this khaki mohair knit. Paired simply with skinny jeans and leather boots, you have yourself the perfect, cosy winter outfit.

One brand I can just rely on to deliver is Whistles. Their designs are so effortless and I can nearly always find something I like. So when I opened a package on Christmas morning containing some Whistles items, it was safe say I was one happy (and lucky) bunny! As you must all know by now, monochrome is my thing. I love anything black and white, so this blouse is right up my street. It's such a statement in itself, it needs nothing more than a simple pair of black jeans, leather boots and a coat for colder days.

What I Wore 2015

January 03, 2016

One of my favourite posts of the entire year is always my 'What I Wore' end of year round-up post. I love looking back on some of thing thing I've worn. Some I like, others I don't, but that's the beauty of fashion. I was also particularly pleased this year, as I've beaten my record and posted 32 outfits! So lets take a look back and see what they were...

What was your favourite...?

Hello, again...

January 02, 2016

Hello all. I thought I owed you an explanation and an apology really. I've not been posting much on my blog lately, and as much as I've wanted to, it's just felt that life has got in the way. Everything has been moving at such a fast pace, that making time to write blog posts and take decent pictures just doesn't really happen. It's been good though. What with the new start to the year and all, I feel that some time away has given me a much needed break, as after all this is my hobby and my passion and something I do for fun and fulfilment as opposed to duty.

A lot has happened recently. I've been studying a lot and had all sorts of important deadlines and hand-ins. By the time Christmas came around I was ready to sleep for weeks, however Christmas in my house is always hectic and I've spent the last few weeks socialising, seeing family and friends and stuffing my face. It was also my 4th blog birthday! Where has 4 years gone? It's mad to think that I've had this little blog by my side through all of that time, and that's just how I like it really, little. In the least selfish sounding way possible I do this for myself. As much as I appreciate you all reading it, if I didn't love what I was doing I wouldn't bother. It's made me so happy along through the years, and has shaped my life, studies and career into what it is today. I look forward to the future and what it brings in years to come.

So now here we are. It's January 2nd 2016. A new year has begun, and there are adventurous times ahead. I don't want to set unrealistic resolutions which I'll never stick to, I'm not really into all that. But, what I do want is a more positive 2016. 2015 was a difficult, hard, but nevertheless good year. However, so much is happening for me in 2016 that I just want to make the most of it, live for the moment and not get caught up in the small stuff. So here's to a positive, healthy and happy 2016. Remember that you have all the skills and capabilities within your to cope with anything life throws at you. You are a strong and capable person and that comes from within. Live in the now for it is all that you have.

Much love to you all - Roxanne x
