Doing up rooms is one of my favourite things to do. Since moving into the house I currently live in 3 1/2 years ago, I have re-decorated my bedroom in particular around 5 times. I don't know what it is, but I get an idea in my head and I just go for it. (Like the time I decided wooden floors would be great idea and ripped out my carpet in a spontaneous moment with bare hands.) I've always loved Scandinavian design, and so for my latest venture, I wanted to for something that was minimal but cosy. I don't have an awful lot of space at all but I try and make the most of it by keeping things bright and adding a lot of mirrors to reflect light and make the space feel bigger. I have to say that I think this is the best design it's had yet, and I will hopefully be sticking to this for a while now, as I'm not sure how much more re-decorating it can take!
When it comes to foundations, I like something a bit different everyday. Sometimes I'll just fancy a light base and other times it will be all about the coverage. I tend to go for drugstore foundations as I think there are some awesome ones available, and you can also test more of them due to their affordable price tags! I have always liked Rimmel Foundations (apart from the old Stay Matte that was a no from me), and decided to test one of their full coverage offerings. I'm never usually a full coverage kind of girl, but this one sounded right up my street. Lasting finish and comfort serum to me suggest a long lasting semi dewy base, and that is exactly what this is. I've never been one for matte foundations, and many full coverage options often are. This is perfect for the winter season, it has a great coverage as suggested and doesn't look cakey or dry on the skin. I loved this foundation instantly and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a decent and affordable foundation. Another win from Rimmel right here!
I've been trying to branch away from just wearing black, white and grey all the time. I'm boring myself, and the world of colour looks oh-so exciting. I hadn't been into Primark for ages and I wasn't seeing too much that I liked until this caught my eye. It was such beautiful pattern and I didn't feel I could leave it on the rail. I love red as a colour and I would love to wear it more often, so this is me venturing into the world of colour and trying to change. This is the perfect top for everyday dressing with a pair of jeans or a skirt. Maybe the world of coloured clothes is one you'll see me in more...?!

You might have noticed that I've been doing a few homeware hauls recently. I'm currently in the process of redecorating my bedroom as it is in a much needed state of attention. I really like interior design, and planning how rooms are going to look makes me very excited! I've really been inspired by Scandinavian style at the moment, and this is the kind of feel I went for when planning my latest decoration project! Obviously, with IKEA being a Sweedish brand, it was a great place to find some great things in, so here is a look at what I've bought. When the room is finished if anyone is interested in seeing then let me know and I might just do a blog post...
Autumn make-up is one of my favourites. I love the flawless skin and the dark lips, the whole thing is just beautiful! For this make-up look I used:
