Again, sorry for the lack of blog posts this week, I have just been so busy recently that blogging has taken a bit of a back seat, *slap on the wrists* and I need to get back into doing it more frequently.
I was rummaging round my local charity shops the other day and came across one of my most bargainous buys ever! I found a black pair (the ones I have really wanted) of Topshop Leigh Jeans. Now if you don't already know, these are Topshops's super soft and super skinny jeans, and for someone who doesn't really like to wear jeans as they find them uncomfortable, these are perfect. Now, Topshop Leigh Jeans retail for £38 and I managed to bag the beauties for....*wait for it*....£1.99. Yes, that is £1.99!!!! I literally couldn't believe it and snapped them up before anyone else could.
What bargains have you been picking up recently?
Long time no see lovelies sorry for the lack of blog posts this week I have been uber busy and have not had the time to blog. I'm here now though to give you my review on Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection Foundation. There is so much hype over their infamous Lasting Perfection Concealer, so I thought I would give their foundation a go and see if it lives up to its sister product.
It was on offer in Superdrug for £3.99 instead of £5.99 which I think is an amazing price for a foundation. I didn't really know what I was expecting when I bought it and I would say that now I have mixed feelings about it. Just like the concealer I would say it is medium to full coverage. It lasts a long time (clues in the title!) and I like the fact it is oil free as my skin type has become a lot more oily recently, and I need something that will stay on my face for longer than half a day!
I did find it quite hard to blend compared to something like the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation as it just isn't as smooth. I ended up using my fingers as it was just too difficult to blend easily with my brush. Maybe with a different type of brush it would work better though. I really don't like the smell as it reminds me of sun-cream and that's a smell I really hate. I would say it really gave my skin a flawless finish though which I really like I would use a powder over the top of it as it can feel a little but tacky once applied. At the same time I bought the foundation I bought a Collection 2000 powder and I have to say I love it. It works really well over this foundation and others. It's not cakey and applies well. It is also the bargainous price of £1.99. I got my foundation in the shade 2 Ivory, but I think it might be a little dark for me so I would be interested in seeing the lightest colour.
Overall I would give this foundation 3/5. It is cheap and good coverage. It lasts a long time and is great for anyone on a make-up budget!
What are your favourite budget foundations and have you tried this one before?
I am one of those people who changes their room around all the time. I am also someone who wants pieces in my room to be unique and quirky. I have had impulsive moments in the past when re-designing my room, such as ripping up the carpet and painting the floorboards white just because I felt like it! I like my room to reflect me and my personality and I definitely think it does that.
In February I moved from a spacious modern house to a small cottage. I am having to deal with having a smaller room, but I really don't mind because I am now living in the house of my dreams. It's got quirky character and period features and that's what I love in a house. Anyway enough of my rambling...here is my room!

Where did September go?! I know it is a stereotypical thing that bloggers say but seriously, this month went so quickly! I am glad we are now in October though as it feels like it properly is autumn, and not just like we're in a strange transitional period between summer and a/w. This has been the month of re-discovering items which I've had for a while and forgotten my love for, so I feel like I have been quite thrifty and not spent too much money!
My favourite bloggers this month are georgiabeee- I LOVE her blog. I feel like our style is quite similar and her reviews are great and really helpful. If you haven't already checked her out then I suggest you should!
beautycrush- Now many of you may know of her already through her YouTube channel but she also has a blog which is amazing. I love her unique style and I really look forward to reading her posts whenever one appears on my dashboard!
So this is my OOTD. I love this outfit as it keeps you nice and warm but still looking stylish. I am wearing the same necklace that was featured in my 'Lookbook' as I have just been loving it sooooo much recently. This is a great layering outfit as you could add a scarf on top or a jumper underneath.
